Sensei Troy RodmanOwner of Bailey’s Karate in Cortland, he began his martial arts training in 1984 with the Zen-Do Kai Martial Arts Association at SUNY Cobleskill. After graduating, he joined Bailey’s Karate in Rome, NY, where he continued his training and began teaching under highly knowledgeable instructors. During this time, he developed into the dedicated teacher he is today.
In 1990, Troy earned his 1st Degree Black Belt at the Rome school. He currently holds a 5th Degree Black Belt and has been teaching karate to children and adults ages 4 and up for more than 30 years. Troy opened Bailey’s Karate Cortland in 1994 and has been actively training and teaching students ever since. He is a skilled martial artist whose strong technical background is reflected in the quality and discipline of his students. |

Bailey's teaches American Sport Karate, a modernized form of marital arts with a blend of two traditional styles of Tae Kwon Do and Shotokan Karate, as well as kickboxing. It is a fun and exciting program that teaches self defense and safety skills.
